Welcome to Kiwanis of Fairfield
The Kiwanis Club of Fairfield was chartered in 1961 and has been committed to the youth of Fairfield ever since. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our service projects most often focus on the needs of children including pediatric trauma, safety, child care, early development, infant health, nutrition, and parenting skills. Service projects also address other needs within our community, such as working to stop substance abuse, helping the elderly, promoting literacy, supporting youth sports and recreation. Kiwanis also plays a special role in developing future generations of leaders. K-Kids clubs at the elementary school level, Builders Clubs in middle school and junior highs, Key Clubs in high schools, and Circle K clubs at the collegiate level all are Kiwanis organizations that teach community service and leadership skills to young people. Membership is open to local civic minded professionals, business people, and residents that want to make a positive impact on the children of our community. Please contact president Tom Maniscalco at 203-257-6167.

October 30, 2015 Kiwanis Club Sponsors
The Kiwanis Club of Fairfield has assumed the sponsorship and management of this popular event. Trick or Treat on Safety Street offers parents of all our town's families a safe venue to bring their children to Trick-of Treat for Halloween. This year the event will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015, from 2 pm to 5 pm, downtown Fairfield. Participating merchants will be identified by a Trick-or Treat on Safety Street Poster in their window.
The Star 99.9 street team will be playing music and handing out goodies and joining other non-profit organizations on the Sherman Green. The local Key Clubs will be assisting on that day, and passing out Fairfield Kiwanis balloons. Please help us make this a great event for the children and the Town of Fairfield.
